What's Old Is New Again...When It Comes To Cereals

Two cereals I like recently made changes...changes that are actually just reverting back to what they used to be.

Trix advertises on the box that the cereal is in a new shape. What's that shape? Circular multi-colored puffs, which would be familiar to anyone who ate Trix before the 1990's.

The more interesting case, however, belongs to Honey Comb. A little while back, Post changed the formula of Honey Comb. The results weren't that great. Last week, we got a box of Honey Comb and the box said "Now Better Tasting!" When my sister and I tried the cereal, we realized that they just reverted back to the original, delicious, Honey Comb formula.

It makes you wonder why companies muck around with stuff if they know people are going to want the original again anyway.
