A Funny Thing About My Upcoming Birthday

My birthday is Christmas Eve and I realized something funny (and special) about this year in particular. I turn 24 this year. This means that the number of my birthday and my age will match for the only time in my life. This happened with my sister last year. Her birthday is June 17th and she turned 17 in 2003. My mom's birthday is October 1st which means that it happened for her on her first birthday. My dad's birthday is Valentine's Day, so he was 14 when it happened for him. I wonder if any cultures make a big deal about the birthday where the numbers match. Regardless, I'll make sure to enjoy my first 24 hours of being 24 on the 24th.
