28 Years Is Quite A Long Time

Yesterday, July 31st, was my parents’ wedding anniversary. They have been married for 28 years. It’s funny to see them and see how they are virtual opposites. Both of them love my sister and I dearly, are easy to get along with, and have interesting senses of humor. However, my dad is an optimist while my mom is more of a pessimist. My dad’s a little goofy while my mom’s a little more reserved. My mom is strong-willed and my dad always wants to please. However, they have that unusual relationship that only people like themselves (those who have been married for a long time) have. So, here’s to 28 years of marriage for my parents. I hope they have another 28.
